- Degree from accredited nursing program
- BLS Certification
- At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting

Med‑Surg nurses (RN) provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and support patients treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness. They must be well‑versed in a wide variety of health conditions.
- Complete assignments made by physicians.
- Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care.
- Assess changes in patient’s health status and perform various treatments.
- Administer medication.
- Maintain meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other team members.
