What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, loading and shipping zones, warehouses, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

* Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policies, and help to control access to restricted operational areas.

* Support daily operations by communicating with staff regarding security-related matters, following post orders, and completing required logs, reports, and shift activity records.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* CPR certification is preferred.

* This is primarily a driving post.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
