Solutions Architect

Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Solutions Architect. This is a full‑time contract position for 6 months with a possible extension, located in St. Louis, MO. Employment will be on a W‑2 basis.

• Gather and translate business and technical requirements into scalable solution designs.
• Design and document end‑to‑end architecture, including APIs, integrations, and workflows.
• Produce clear, high‑quality technical documentation (architecture diagrams, process flows, system interactions).
• Lead solution design discussions and collaborate closely with development teams.
• Identify risks, gaps, and inefficiencies, and propose effective solutions.
• Support API design, integration strategies, and service orchestration.
• Continuously improve architecture standards and documentation practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, systems design, or software engineering.
• Strong experience with Java‑based systems and application architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful services and integrations.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices.

• Experience in telecommunications or mobile IT.
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman and Chalk.
• Exposure to OSS/BSS, mobile platforms, or network integrations.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience leveraging AI tools for development or documentation.

$55 - $60 per hour, based on education, experience, location, and specific job duties.
