Construction Estimator

Experience: Mid Level

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Solid understanding of construction fundamentals, take‑offs, and estimating principles
• Familiarity with blueprints and ability to interpret construction plans
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with Procore, On‑Screen Takeoff (OST), and bidding platforms is a plus
• 3–5+ years of construction industry experience preferred; training available for the right candidate

We’re seeking a Construction Estimator to join a dynamic team focused on delivering high‑quality commercial and institutional projects on time and within budget. In this role you’ll play a key part in pre‑construction, collaborating across departments to create competitive, accurate estimates and help shape project success.

• Review project specifications and construction drawings to understand scope and deliverables
• Prepare detailed take‑offs and cost analyses for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontract work
• Build and submit complete proposals including budgeting, scheduling, and pricing strategies
• Manage subcontractor invitations to bid and evaluate responses to ensure competitive pricing
• Conduct subcontractor leveling and scope comparisons to support accurate buys
• Perform project buy‑out and contracting after award
• Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting, analyzing, and reconciling data
• Establish relationships with industry partners and stay informed on trends that influence pricing
