Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Nursing Officer, based in Salem, OR. The Chief Nursing Officer will oversee nursing operations, ensuring high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff performance. Responsibilities include developing and implementing clinical policies, managing nursing staff, coordinating care services, and collaborating with leadership teams to achieve organizational goals. This role involves fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and excellence in patient outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Nursing Leadership:
    Strong background in team management, staff development, and creating policies to enhance patient care
  • Healthcare Compliance:
    Knowledge of nursing regulations, quality assurance, and patient safety standards
  • Strategic Planning:
    Experience in operational planning, resource allocation, and budget management for clinical departments
  • Clinical Expertise:
    Advanced understanding of patient care best practices and ability to guide clinical decision-making
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to foster collaboration among teams and stakeholders
  • Education:

    Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required, and a Master s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is preferred
  • Experience:

    A minimum of 2-5 years of leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings

    Strong problem-solving skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care
