Archer Western is currently seeking a Common Laborer for the I 81 Widening Project in Roanoke, VA.

• Perform physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
• Work with crew members and operate hand and power tools, such as drills and hammers, when directed.
• Clean and prepare construction sites, including erecting scaffolding, removing and disposing of debris, and digging trenches.
• Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with equipment.

• Preferred: 1 year of verifiable construction experience.
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds or ladders.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co‑workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may need to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
