** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions or concerns to the appropriate site contacts.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and observe site conditions.

+ Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for employees, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with site protocols and assigned post instructions.

+ Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or operational concerns, and communicate relevant information during shift changes and to Allied Universal leadership.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
