Structural Designer

Basic Function

Perform routine structural engineering assignments.

• Engineering of various structures such as steel, concrete, masonry and wood‑frame, under the supervision of a P.E.
• Perform CAD/BIM drafting of engineering designs.
• Site visits to inspect/measure existing building conditions.

• Strong personal organizational and time management skills as well as a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to multi‑task and work with a group and on an individual basis.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Projects, etc.).

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• 2‑5 years of experience in structural design.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Revit experience.

• EI Certification preferred.
