Construction Inspector

Overview

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Construction Inspector
.

Position type:
Full Time - Contract role
Duration: 24 Months

Location:

San Antonio, TX

• Serve as field liaison between contractors, within various areas of the company, and customers as needed.
• Ensure contractors are working safely and in accordance with client standards and specifications, processes and procedures.
• Ensure contractors are following provided client designs and standards, coordinating approved modifications as appropriate.
• Attend and participate in pre-construction/planning, on-going construction status, and post-construction meetings.
• Perform field investigations to follow up on work completed and respond to customer concerns.
• Identify, stop, and report any contractor safety infractions with client management and/or contract crew management.
• Communicate with designers and other stakeholders regarding all changes made in the field.
• Conduct inspections of overhead lines and plan, coordinate and track work assigned to contractors.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Extensive experience in overhead construction.
• Knowledge of client overhead construction standards and safety guidelines.
• Experience in reading and interpreting construction designs.

• Experience in overhead journeyman.
• Vegetation experience in arboriculture or horticulture.
• Bilingual

Pay Range: Between $38.00 – $43.84 per hour

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
