Day Shift


This position has responsibility to facilitate the development, program growth and oversight of the strategic telehealth strategy for UH Tele Doc by coordinating and collaborating through partnerships and regular interaction with IT, managed care, revenue cycle, Business to Business Champion, physicians, nurses, and other clinicians as well as various levels of executive management and staff. This position is directly responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating all administrative aspects of the Enterprise Telehealth program but not limited to planning, policies and procedures, staffing, budgeting, technology requirements and implementation, prioritization of initiatives, workflows and overall operation of programs and support services.


A Bachelor's degree in Business Management Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management or similar, plus five (3) years of telehealth experience is required. In-depth knowledge of Telehealth & Telemedicine operations, regulations, and industry best practices. Familiarity with Telehealth and Telemedicine technologies, platforms, and solutions, including electronic health records (EHRs), digital patient experience platforms, and interoperability between them. Additional skill set in solid problem solving and time management skills, great interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), strong attention to detail and highly organized.

Experience in clinical workflow and telemedicine systems is required. Strong understanding of Healthcare Delivery systems and workflows, with the ability to integrate telehealth and telemedicine services seamlessly. Project management or performance improvements experience preferred.

Must have proficient PC skills in word processing and spreadsheets. Understanding of pertinent accreditation guidelines, such as The Joint Commission, Meaningful Use, third-party payers and other CMS and CDC requirements preferred. Knowledge of Privacy and Security regulations, including HIPAA, and experience implementing measures to ensure compliance.
