Client is seeking a Senior Cyber Systems & Network Engineer to add to their existing team. They have an outstanding company culture with competitive compensation and benefits.


We have a current opening for a Senior Cyber Systems & Network Engineer. The candidate's rsponsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Evaluate and demonstrate multiple and complex cyber technology products.

Interpret operational requirements. Conduct technical assessments.

Establish and refine processes to improve the efficiency of product assessment and evaluation.

Develop documentation for assessment and accreditation of systems.

Prepare assessment reports and perform demonstrations / briefings on assessment related matters.

Conduct Operational Network Warfare product assessment and code review processes.

Design, install and support assessment network computer systems including local-area networks, wide area networks, and network segments.

Support rapidly changing test environments by building small (10-15 node) networks in one to two days or larger networks in four to five days.

Install and configure hardware such as routers, switches, hubs, intrusion detection systems, intrusion prevention systems and others devices.

Wire devices together with cable and fiber.

Troubleshoot problems with test network systems. Configure nodes, subnets, and domains.

Maintain network configuration control.

Analyze and recommend refinement modifications / reconfigurations of Network Warfare products to improve effectiveness and utility.

Coordinate among programs and external test agencies to improve the test management processes.

Research open source / commercial sources for technical solutions derived from operational requirements.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications;

Knowledge of DoD & AF test directives, policies, regulations and processes.

Understanding of the standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the software engineering field.

Experience designing, installing and supporting test network computer systems.

Familiarity with Unix, Linux and Windows operating systems and network administration. Experience with test planning and execution on Information Operations, Information Warfare, and Information Technology systems.

Experience with local area networks / systems administration and network security.

Experience with VMware Enterprise such as vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.

Comfortable with low-level programming languages such as assembler, and high-level programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Ruby and shell scripts.

Experience with Air Force IT Certification and Accreditation procedures / requirements.

Experience setting up traffic generation software. Experience setting up UPS systems and calculating power requirements for network components.

Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products.

Security + or CISSP certification required.


BS degree and 14 years of experience; MS and 12 years of experience; or PhD and 9 years of experience required.


Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen and possess the ability to acquire a U.S. Security Clearance.

This position may require travel of up to one week per month.
