Position: Staffing Advisor - 3
DescriptionThis position will serve as a Sourcer but may also have Staffing Advisor responsiblities. This position will identify, source and screen qualified, diverse candidates who meet current and future company job requirements. Uses various internet sourcing tools to find qualified candidates including LinkedIn/LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed.com, Google Search, Facebook, Twitter and others using Boolean search techniques. Build relationships with candidates, providing them best in class candidate experience, and helping them get the right role at SDG&E. Dive deep into our recruiting data to understand trends and opportunities. Understand specific client group’s needs for talent. You will use this to drive an event strategy that identifies, attracts, and retains traditional and non-traditional talent. Will manage and coordinate the recruitment & selection process for exempt, non-exempt and some union positions for assigned client groups by performing the following: Evaluate employment applications and identify qualified applicants; utilizes online recruiting sources to identify and source candidates; write position advertisements; applies compensation philosophy to determine appropriate offer amount; extend employment offers. Takes appropriate measures to ensure compliance to ADA and company policy to avoid discrimination of disabled employees/applicants (i.e. identify alternate work for disabled employees returning to work) with company negotiated bargaining unit agreements and other state and federal regulations, i.e. EEOC, ADA, FLSA to ensure best hiring practices are enforced.Quals--Five years of professional level recruiting/sourcing required. Strong knowledge and understanding of strategic sourcing and recruitment practices and operations related to the placement of qualified, diverse applicants. A proven successful track record in technical recruiting/sourcing. Experience partnering with diverse organizations to source passive candidates. ATS experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates. Ability to continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to sourcing and delivering candidates. Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Requires analytical ability and judgment in conducting interviews and in screening applicants; objectivity must be exercised in determining qualifications and recommending selections. Ability to maintain confidential information and materials. Requires tact, diplomacy and excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have excellent computer skills especially MS Word and Outlook. Excellent interpersonal, emotional intelligence and problem solving skills. Solid team player and able to work independently. Strong organization skills, passion for recruitment. Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, related field or equivalent training and experience required.
