Living Independently Is For Everyone (LIFE) is looking for a responsible, energetic candidate who is willing to assist, support, and enhance the life of adults with disabilities.-

Bi-Lingual in Tagalog and English a plus, but not required.

Basic computer skills REQUIRED.

Position Summary: The Job Coach/Direct Support Staff will carry out meaningful community experiences including job development with disabled adults. The Job Coach is responsible for using their personal vehicle to transport clients to various locations throughout the community with an objective to help our clients work on their individualized goals.
Requirements:
* CLEAN DMV record and maintained at all times. We require verification.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Must be willing to use their personal vehicle.
* Must be willing to drive on a daily basis.
* A belief that all adults have the right and the ability to work in the community.
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
* Must be able to work FULL-TIMEfor Day Program.
* No experience necessary. Training is provided.
* Must have a valid California Driver's License, maintained at all times.
* A registered passenger vehicle withinsurance showing you as an insured driver. Registration and insurance must be current at all times.
* Must be able to pass a background check.
* Excellent attendance is a must.

Please note: Our administrative office is in Spring Valley, however, we provide services throughout San Diego County (POWAY,S. Bay, Mid City, Mira Mesa, Rancho Bernardo, El Cajon, San Carlos, Chula Vista, San Ysidro, etc)). After training, you will not come in to the office very often.

Starting Salary: $12.00 per hour. Driving incentives which include mileage reimbursement plus pick-up and drop-off payments. We offer Dental Insurance after successful introductory period. 401(K) eligibility after one year and 1000 hours.

Position Requirements
High School,   Less than 1 Year work experience
WILL TRAIN the right individual.  Must have basic computer skills.  Know Microsoft Office, how to email and attach documents. Forms completion and some simple report writing required.
Required Language Skills:
  • English - Very good
