Data Scientist, Research Scientist
Our Market Research team is looking for a Custom Insights Analyst, Lab & Diagnostics Audience with deep quant and qual custom research expertise and someone highly skilled at blending primary insights with secondary sources and third‑party datasets. The ideal candidate is a compelling writer and presenter who excels at distilling complex data into simple, visually engaging narratives.
The role requires a strong working knowledge of laboratory operations and key personas—including lab directors, pathologists, and senior scientists. Someone that pairs that expertise with intellectual curiosity, analytical rigor, and the ability to craft insights that resonate with both technical audiences and business leaders will thrive in this role.
Responsibilities:- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand insights needs and turn them into focused learning objectives.
- Independently execute and analyze results from exploratory customer research, market landscape and unmet needs studies and message development work, connecting insights across studies to form a cohesive story.
- Lead quant and qual data synthesis and analysis using a suite of tools, including AI.
- Manage multiple concurrent research projects while maintaining high quality standards. This role is less about project managing an external vendor and more about hands‑on analysis once the results come back.
- Provide collaborative ad‑hoc decision support and represent the needs of company's customers in all engagements.

Requirements:- 5+ years custom insights experience in life science, medical device or healthcare.
- Deep understanding of laboratory audiences, including lab directors, pathologists, senior scientists, and related technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, including comfort with complex data and triangulation across multiple inputs.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills. Experience presenting to cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate independently in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrating good judgment in prioritizing competing demands.
