Role Description

This is a full-time on‑site position located in San Diego, CA. As a Pet Smart Experience Leader, you will oversee daily store operations and ensure the highest level of care for pets and their families. Responsibilities include leading and motivating your team to deliver excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, assisting customers with product selections, and coordinating schedules and priorities. You'll also help create a welcoming environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide team members effectively.
  • Experience in customer service, problem‑solving, and providing exceptional shopping experiences.
  • Operational expertise in scheduling, inventory management, and adherence to company policies.
  • Passion for pets and a genuine commitment to their well‑being, health, and safety.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and team members.
  • Availability for a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role or retail environment is preferred but not required.
