Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for energy efficiency and real operational work? We are looking for a San Diego-based, commission-only Field Sales Consultant to sell utility-backed energy efficiency programs in partnership with San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E).

This is a fully on-site, field sales role where you will be visiting commercial properties, walking job sites, identifying upgrade opportunities, and selling energy efficiency improvements subsidized by SDG&E rebates. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on selling real solutions, not just talking about them.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform on-site visits at commercial properties across San Diego.
• Identify and sell energy efficiency upgrades, including:
• Occupancy sensors
• Smart thermostats
• Lighting controls and efficiency upgrades
• Explain SDG&E rebate programs and how they significantly reduce project costs.
• Work directly with business owners, facility managers, and property managers.
• Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure projects are executed correctly.
• Close deals and earn commission on completed sales.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven field or on-site sales experience (energy, lighting, electrical, HVAC, construction, facilities, or similar).
• Comfortable walking job sites and discussing installation work and equipment.
• Strong communication and persuasion skills.
• English required (Spanish is a plus, but not required).
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally within San Diego.
• Available to work fully in the field (not remote).
