Sr. Software Developer - Health Tools

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled software developer to lead the development, maintenance, and expansion of our tools that support Health software development. • Develop tools to assist in triage, bug analysis, identifying patterns in build breaks, preventing regressions, and aiding engineering in pinpointing the root causes of regressions
• Maintain and enhance existing tools used to support the development and integration of Health Software
• Leverage AI to improve daily workflows and improve pre-existing tooling
• Excellent communication skills as high level of interaction with the engineering teams, management, other organizations within Apple are a regular occurrence
• Strong software engineering and development life cycle knowledge
• Proven track record of being proactive, self-motivated, diligent, and well organized

• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• Strong programming skills in Python, Swift, and Bash with at least 5 years of experience
• Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins
• Experience with Git and codebase management
• Ability to investigate, debug and triage difficult problems both independently and cooperatively
• Highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate close interaction with development teams, management, and other organizations within Apple

• Experience with Apple tooling and development practices
• Experience leveraging AI to enhance existing tools and daily productivity
• Familiarity with wellness or medical concepts

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
