Publicly traded medical device company is seeking a hands‑on Associate Director of Accounting to join their expanding team. This position will oversee both operational and technical accounting function and play key role in supporting the Company’s continued growth.

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting function include AP, AR, Payroll, Month‑end‑close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
• Own revenue recognition to ensure proper accounting treatment as it relates to revenue recognition ASC 606.
• Perform monthly close procedures for revenue, including journal entries, gross‑to‑net adjustments, accounts receivable, and preparation of financial reports.
• Assist with technical accounting including SEC filing, Stock Administration
• Assist the technical accounting function including research and accounting memos and business process documentation.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; prepare flux analysis; prepare schedules for audits and reviews.
• Partner with external auditors to provide audit support and to ensure a smooth quarterly and annual audit.
• Maintain and update the RCM quarterly and assist with SOX testing and compliance.
• Lead the effort to implement Sunshine reporting for the Company.
• Work cross functionally with R&D, Clinical, Operations, and HR to align finance with business needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA, ideally public/private mix experience in biotech or medical device industry
• Minimum 8 plus years of experience in accounting in startup or high‑growth environment
• Strong understanding GAAP, SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and technical accounting
• Experience with Sage/Intacct and Equity Edge is a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
