Principal ASIC Engineer

Play a key role in architecture and development of advanced verification environments for complex SoC components, ensuring on‑time, best‑in‑class quality. Work in the field of semiconductors and microelectronics, particularly in the verification of NVMe and PCIe‑based SSD products. Design a wide range of solutions from VR experiences to breakthroughs in neural networks. Perform design verification using simulation, product testing, and quality metrics.

Develop UVM‑based SV test benches, define test plans, and manage project goals and timelines. Develop and improve the DV flow, verify design performance, coverage, and bug rates. Debug simulations with VCS, waveforms with Verdi, and emulation on Zebu. Interface with architecture, design, firmware, FPGA, emulation, and post‑silicon teams. May telecommute part‑time.

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, followed by 10 years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in an engineer‑related occupation.

• Perl, Python, PCIe, NVMe, UVM, and System Verilog.
• ASIC simulation tools and verification methods.
• Defining verification architecture, including test plans at block, subsystem, and SOC level.
• Verification flows, including test implementation, debugging, metrics‑driven coverage closure, root cause analysis.
• Testing, debugging, and developing firmware for simulation, emulation, and acceleration platforms.
• Writing block‑level and SOC test plans.

The US base salary range estimated for this full‑time position is $233,157 – $336,000.
