Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Test Solutions Engineering (TSE)

• Craft new and modify existing equipment in cross-discipline design teams (software, electrical, control, and mechanical engineers). Develop documentation for designs, modify, test, and debug kernel modules and drivers.
• Develop code in C, C++, Bash, and Python on bare metal and under RHEL-compatible Linux distros in containers.
• Manufacture and support equipment in collaboration with New Product Introduction, Field Service, and Operation teams.
• Innovate and provide outstanding solutions that meet manufacturing and production needs.
• Support and improve existing designs.

• 8+ years of embedded software experience collaborating with hardware and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3 years of embedded software experience collaborating with hardware.
• Proficiency in C and C++ with a comprehension of analog circuitry.
• Familiarity with lab equipment, schematic, and PCB layout.
• Knowledge of PCIe and Linux kernel/module/driver.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash, Linux, and GNU toolchain.

• Experience with schematics and PCB layout.
• Knowledge of collaboratively working with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, SMUs.
• Proficiency in PCIe/NVMe and Linux kernel/module/driver and Linux storage devices.
