Vishay Siliconix is currently seeking applicants for a Manager – IC Sustaining Product Engineering
. We are currently looking for a Manager of Product Engineering to join our Power IC team in San Jose, California, involved in development of integrated circuits at the heart of modern power systems.
- Play a key role in ensuring smooth transition of new products to mass production.
- Manage product changes such as cost reduction programs and fab/assembly/test site transfers.
- Primary technical resource for addressing and providing timely response to customer complaints.
- Lead 8D team to resolve customer complaints and communicate responses in a timely manner.
- Interface with quality, reliability, customer, sales, marketing, applications, design, product, test engineers, assembly and foundry groups to address customer issues.
- Quality and Yield monitoring, analysis and improvement plans at Fab and Backend sites. Disposition and Root cause analysis of non‑conforming materials.
- Implement systems to periodically track performance metrics.
- Ensure new product releases meet manufacturability requirements.
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent, masters a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in IC product engineering role. MOSFET experience a plus.
- Very knowledgeable in the following areas:
Advanced semiconductor packaging, Device physics, Digital and analog circuit theory, Reliability testing concepts, Electrical and thermal characterization, Failure analysis, Wafer fabrication, Assembly flows, Wafer sort and Final Test operation, Quality systems and standards such as ISO, AEC, JEDEC, 8D, DFMEA, DFT, DFM, DOE and statistical tools such PAT, SPC, GRR, JMP. - Experience with ETS
364/88/800 Eagle Tester, ASL1K or similar open architecture test platforms. - Experience in characterization and testing of semiconductor devices.
- Hands‑on experience on lab bench equipment.
