Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector with experience in precision metal manufacturing. This role is responsible for ensuring all parts and assemblies meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
- Inspect sheet metal and machined components for dimensional accuracy
- Use precision measuring tools including:
- Conduct visual inspection of welds and finished parts
- Complete inspection reports and documentation
- Work closely with machinists, fabricators, and welders to resolve quality issues
- Identify non-conforming materials and initiate corrective actions
- Maintain calibration records for inspection equipment
- 2+ years of quality inspection experience in metal manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining and/or sheet metal fabrication
- Ability to read complex technical drawings and understand tolerances
- Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with CMM operation
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
- Experience in aerospace, medical, or high-precision industries
