Senior Fullstack Developer

We’re seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust, high-quality applications across backend and frontend environments. In this role, you will leverage multiple development languages and frameworks to deliver scalable solutions, ensure code quality, and drive engineering best practices across the SDLC.

You’ll manage a portfolio of applications, guide development standards, and apply Agile ways of working to ensure timely, secure, and high-performance software delivery for Alexforbes.

• Software Solution Design:
  Participate in iteration and release planning. Interpret and contribute to design specifications, including database structures and architecture diagrams. Apply engineering best practices across the SDLC, including CI/CD pipelines and security standards.
• Solution Development:
  Build and test full-stack components using C#, ASP.NET (latest), Angular, Type Script, SQL, and cloud-native patterns. Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality, maintainable code.
• Technical Leadership:
  Provide expert-level input during design and code reviews. Ensure development aligns with best practices, organisational standards, and compliance requirements. Offer mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
• Agile Delivery:
  Apply Agile methodologies, participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and collaborate within cross-functional teams to deliver solutions at pace.
• Maintenance & Support:
  Troubleshoot and resolve defects, respond to support requests within SLA, apply patches and updates, and ensure system stability and performance.
• Dev Ops Enablement:
  Utilise Azure Dev Ops pipelines for CI/CD, version control (Git), and automated deployments.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Communicate technical designs, progress, challenges, and implementation details clearly to team members and wider stakeholders.
• Time & Task Management:
  Manage workload to meet milestone commitments and deliver project targets effectively.

• National Senior Certificate (Matric / Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Advantageous:
  Certifications in Microsoft development stacks, cloud technologies, or modern frameworks

• 5–7 years full stack development experience
• Frontend development:
  Angular, Type Script
• SQL and database design
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops pipelines
• Experience in cloud computing environments

• Experience with .NET MAUI 8+
• React and legacy .NET frameworks
• Technical: C#, ASP.NET, Angular, Type Script, SQL, CI/CD, Git, cloud computing, full-stack architecture, debugging, systems integration.
