Fleet Maintenance Manager
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Fleet Manager to lead and grow our commercial fleet sales operations. The Fleet Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with government agencies, commercial businesses, leasing companies, and fleet customers to drive vehicle sales and service opportunities. This role oversees the fleet sales process from prospecting and bidding to delivery and payment follow-up, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
Compensation- Expected annual income of $100,000+

Responsibilities- Maintains contact with federal, state, and/or local government agencies and utilities to secure fleet business, actively utilizing the bidding process.
- Solicits commercial fleet accounts.
- Ensures quality deliveries of all fleet sales.
- Acts as source for national and local courtesy deliveries (supplying specifications as needed for orders).
- Provides out‑of‑stock service for fleet accounts and local leasing companies in conjunction with the new‑vehicle department manager.
- Supplies Fleet Director Department manager with monthly forecasts of fleet car and truck deliveries.
- Follows up on dealership payment for delivered fleet, lease company, and commercial account vehicles routinely.
- Maintains professional appearance.
- Attends manager meetings as requested.
- Excellent communication skills (including listening, speaking).
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
- Ability to multi‑task.
- Ability to work alone, self‑motivate, and manage one’s own time.
- Physical ability to use computer hardware/software.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Computer literate (MS Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook).
- Must maintain a clean driving record and be insurable with company insurance.
