Senior Manager – CX, a Connor Group Company

Responsibilities
  • Bring value to clients by delivering expert guidance, driving operational improvements, and supporting complex accounting scenarios.
  • Lead interim service roles such as:
    • Interim Controller – manage and optimize financial close processes, including month‑end and year‑end activities; coach and mentor junior team members.
    • Interim Accounting Manager – streamline workflows in the general ledger, consolidations, and management reporting.
    • Interim Special Projects Lead – manage major initiatives such as M&A, system implementations, and ERP integrations (Net Suite, Flo Qast, Black Line, and other platforms).
    • Interim Financial Analysis/FP&A Lead – prepare budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
    • Interim Internal Audit Director – provide interim audit leadership, support SOX compliance, and strengthen internal controls.
    • Interim SEC Reporting manager/Director – prepare and review SEC filings, financial statements, and disclosures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required;
    Master’s preferred.
  • CPA license or equivalent certification highly valued.
  • 7+ years of experience, ideally a mix of public accounting (Big Four or next ten) and industry experience.
  • At least 4 years leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, ownership of deliverables with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel.
  • Technology proficiency: ERP systems, especially Net Suite; supplemental tools like Flo Qast, Blackline, Workiva, and Carta are a bonus.
