Manager, Software Engineer

Position Overview

Oversees a small team within the Total Rewards function, ensuring operational excellence in compensation and benefits. Supports the execution of strategic initiatives and contributes to process improvements. Manages day‑to‑day program administration, resolves escalated employee inquiries, ensures compliance with policies and procedures, develops junior team members and fosters collaboration with HR partners.

• Manage daily operations of compensation and benefits, ensuring timely execution and data accuracy.
• Supervise and coach team members on Total Rewards processes, tools, and compliance standards.
• Support annual compensation planning, benefits renewals, and wellness program administration.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations, including documentation for audits.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Finance to execute programs and resolve escalated employee inquiries.
• Monitor operational metrics and recommend process improvements.
• Provide training, support, and development opportunities to team members to ensure high performance and engagement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.

• Typically holds a Bachelor’s degree; experienced workforce professionals with 8+ years, or Master’s degree with 6+ years.
• Attends company and regional training in area of expertise; presents own work to department members and external consultants and conferences.
• Collaborates externally; demonstrates proficiency with AI tools, skilled in developing and managing intelligent prompts or agents.
• Proven experience managing teams, excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong mentoring capabilities and experience managing compensation and benefits operations.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g., ACA, ERISA).
• Able to translate strategy into execution.
