Cell Associate

St. Kitts facility, API HAROWE, a Regal Rexnord Company.

The Cell Associate will perform multiple tasks simultaneously within a work cell. The position requires setting up and running multiple pieces of equipment and process steps at the same time, multitasking between steps and equipment. Work involves standing and moving throughout the cell during work hours.

• Maintain Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity and Housekeeping standards and metrics.
• Set up equipment, meters, winders, wire tooling, liquid ratios, epoxies and other process tooling and equipment as required.
• Meet daily throughput and production targets.
• Assemble and test fabricated parts to relatively small or light sub‑assemblies, complete units and specialty products.
• Operate multiple pieces of equipment and/or process steps such as auto winding, lead straightening, molding, cut & fold, loading, deflashing, printing/laser, testing, soldering, cleaning, coating/varnishing, visual inspection, and packaging.
• Perform multiple tasks simultaneously within a work cell.
• Adhere to standard work procedures and prescribed work sequences.
• Comply with safety and quality protocols and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.

• High School education or GED equivalent.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Must be able to use a hand calculator and understand decimals.
• Must have good eyesight and hand‑eye coordination.
• Must be able to read, write, interpret, speak and understand English and all written work procedures, guidelines and general business documents.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to reason, understand, carry out daily tasks and functions prescribed by supervisor and work procedures assigned either individually or in a cell/team environment.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee will be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal to moderate.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, fractions, etc.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
