Safety Manager

Safety Manager (Bilingual – English/Spanish) – Orlando, FL

Jon M. Hall Company is seeking a hands‑on, bilingual Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across our civil construction and site development projects. This role is approximately 95% field‑based, requiring daily site visits, safety observations, and collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and employees. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering a proactive safety culture, thrives in physically active environments, and is committed to ensuring every project is executed safely and efficiently.

• Lead by example in the field, promoting safety among Foremen, Superintendents, Managers, Employees, and Subcontractors.
• Conduct daily safety inspections, meetings, and training directly on job sites.
• Develop and implement site‑specific safety programs with Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with corporate, OSHA, and client safety regulations.
• Monitor proper use of safety equipment and maintain safety documentation in English and Spanish.
• Assist project teams with DEP compliance and BMP maintenance.
• Undertake special projects as assigned by the Safety Director and/or CFO.

• Reside in Orlando, FL.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certified;
  Stormwater Inspector certification.
• 3–5 years of construction safety experience.
• Associate degree in Safety or related field (or equivalent combination of experience/education).
• First Aid/CPR Certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across projects simultaneously.

• Work primarily outdoors in heat, sun, and other weather conditions.
• Walk on uneven, sloped, or rough terrain for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting/moving up to 25 lbs.
• Use hands for tools or controls; standing, sitting, reaching above shoulders; close and distance vision.
