Overview
Move the needle in testing NVIDIA's Drive
OS automotive operating system. As a senior software developer, you will push the boundaries for testing and automation, contributing to our verification strategy and future test automation system.
- Develop new and extend existing test strategies to guarantee the highest level of quality from both functional and performance perspectives, ensuring Drive
OS meets world-class standards. - Design and develop software that reliably automates the verification of all Drive
OS components, playing a crucial role in streamlining our testing processes. - Collaborate with multiple development, verification, and customer-facing teams to understand Drive
OS as a product and its real-world applications, facilitating continuous improvement. - Analyze and root-cause issues to the code level, lead the defect-fixing process, and provide effective fixes with efficiency and precision.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in software development, with a proven track record in developing large-scale, logical code in Python or C++ for automation.
- Experience using AI coding assistants to improve coding efficiency and correctness.
- Demonstrated experience working with embedded systems and automotive sensors such as cameras.
- Proficiency in Linux and Unix-like systems for compatibility and integration.
- Experience using source control systems such as Git and Perforce for version control and teamwork.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Experience with requirements and task management systems like Jama, Doors, or Jira.
- Hands-on experience in building LLM-enhanced automation pipelines.
- Experience testing safety-relevant systems following ISO
26262 guidelines, especially for hardware-software interfaces.
Your base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and pay of similar positions. The base salary range is 140,000 USD - 224,250 USD for Level 3, and 168,000 USD - 270,250 USD for Level 4. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
