Operations Technician Rail Loading

Join Keyera as an Operations Technician focused on rail loading at our Sarnia facility. This temporary position involves the safe handling of Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs) through loading and offloading railcars.

Keyera is looking for an experienced Operations Technician for a temporary, 12-month contract in Sarnia, Ontario. The role emphasizes loading and offloading processes while ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency. With previous experience in rail operations, applicants will engage in training, support facility operations, and gain broader responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload NGL railcars according to standards

• Verify railcar details and loading instructions

• Conduct railcar preparations and inspections

• Monitor equipment performance and flow rates

• Support safe work activities and training initiatives

Requirements:

• 1–3 years in rail operations or oil/gas contexts

• CPET, Compressor ticket, or power engineering preferred

• Local residency within 100 km of Sarnia

• Clean driver’s abstract and valid license

• Pass pre-employment medical and drug testing

Support NGL operations and develop expertise with Keyera while ensuring safety and efficiency.
