Bilingual Social Work Professor

Become part of the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Regina as an Assistant Professor for the Bilingual Bachelor of Social Work program. This role requires teaching in both English and French, along with research and student supervision.

The Assistant Professor position focuses on preparing students for generalist social work practice. Based in Saskatoon, SK, the candidate will engage in research, contribute to administrative tasks, and teach using diverse methods, including hybrid formats. This role is essential in shaping future social workers who advocate for marginalized communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach BSW courses in both English and French

• Conduct impactful research in social work practice

Requirements:

• PhD in social work or related field preferred

• Record of teaching and research in social work

• Knowledge of francophone minority communities in Canada
