Living Sky School Division is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Teacher (1.0 FTE) to join North Battleford Comprehensive High School beginning August 26, 2026.
North Battleford Comprehensive High School (NBCHS) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Grade 7–12 French Teacher to join our dynamic secondary team. The successful candidate will foster engaging, inclusive, and student-centered learning environments while supporting students in achieving academic success, developing confidence in their language skills, and building global perspectives.
This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population in a collaborative and innovative learning environment. A commitment to relationship‑building, student engagement, and meeting the needs of diverse learners is essential.
We are looking for an educator who:- Has a background in teaching French at the middle years and/or secondary level
- Creates engaging, inclusive, and student‑centered learning experiences
- Builds strong, respectful relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Demonstrates a commitment to equity, inclusion, and student well‑being
- Uses responsive teaching practices to support diverse learners
- Values collaboration, innovation, and continuous professional growth
- Contributes positively to a collaborative and professional school culture
- Is passionate about helping students become confident communicators, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners
- Valid Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for certification)
- Background and/or experience teaching French at the Grade 7–12 level is considered an asset
- Knowledge of second‑language instructional practices and student‑centered learning approaches is considered an asset
