The Western College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a dedicated Sessional Lecturer to instruct courses like Veterinary Business I and III. Ideal candidates will have a B.A. in Business Economics and significant teaching experience, specifically in business management. You will be responsible for up to 88 students per class, engaging them with course material throughout the term. The position requires a commitment to preparing lectures and evaluating student performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lectures for Veterinary Business I and III courses
• Design and prepare course materials and assessments
• Support student learning through effective communication
• Maintain academic standards as per college guidelines
• Ensure timely grading and feedback for students
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics or equivalent
• At least three years of post-secondary teaching experience
• Valid driver’s license for travelling to off-campus locations
• Willingness to engage in preparation and marking activities
