Assistant Professor in Veterinary Pharmacology

The successful candidate will drive extramurally funded research in Pharmacology or Toxicology, enhancing the Veterinary Biomedical Sciences department. This faculty member will engage in teaching Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology while collaborating within a multidisciplinary environment that emphasizes animal sciences. Ideal candidates will utilize advanced research facilities and engage in interdisciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a strong research program in Pharmacology or Toxicology
• Teach Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology courses
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary research initiatives
• Utilize research facilities for innovative studies
• Contribute to departmental service and academic community
Requirements:
• PhD in Pharmacology or Toxicology required
• Postdoctoral research experience preferred
• Teaching experience is desirable
• DVM is an asset but not mandatory
• Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration
