Join the University of Saskatchewan as a Sessional Lecturer, teaching anthropology courses in-person for the year. Engage students through ANTH 111 and ANTH 112 lectures in Saskatoon.
The University of Saskatchewan is accepting applications for Sessional Lecturers focusing on cultural and archaeological anthropology. Applicants are required to hold at least a Master’s degree in Anthropology, with a PhD being preferred. A successful history of teaching undergraduate students is mandatory to effectively deliver course material.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach ANTH 111 and ANTH 112 lectures
• Develop engaging and informative course content
• Assess and support up to 154 students per class
• Collaborate with peers on course delivery and assessment
• Be prepared for off-campus course requirements if needed
Requirements:
• A Master’s degree in Anthropology or a related field
• PhD is preferred for deeper course engagement
• Demonstrated effectiveness in undergraduate teaching
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Willingness to dedicate time for course preparation
