The Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following summer employment positions:
Dumont Technical Institute – 1 FT Position
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with student recruitment
- Ordering, collecting, recording and organizing program resources
- Preparing monthly reports on activities conducted
- Other duties as assigned
Responsibilities:
- Special projects
- Office coverage
- Representation of GDI at provincial events
- Organizing resources
- General office duties
- Travel throughout the province required
- Other duties as assigned
Responsibilities:
- Researching
- Museum maintenance
- Material production
- Ordering, collecting, recording and organizing program resources
- Preparing monthly reports on activities conducted
- Other duties as assigned
Applicants must be youth aged 15–30. The ideal candidate would be Métis, possess excellent public communication skills, good report writing skills and general computer skills. A valid driver’s license is an asset. These positions are funded under the Canada Summer Jobs Program.
