The University of Prince Edward Island is searching for a qualified individual for a 10-month term starting July 1, 2026. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in engineering and have a solid background in teaching sustainable design, mechanics, materials, or thermo-fluids. You will have the opportunity to design curriculum and laboratory experiences that engage students in real-world engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct undergraduate engineering design courses

• Create hands-on labs and innovative learning initiatives

• Supervise collaborative design projects among students

• Participate in faculty-wide service commitments

• Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in teaching

Requirements:

• Doctorate in relevant engineering field

• P.Eng or EIT registration with Engineers PEI

• Experience in teaching and industry collaboration

• Commitment to diverse educational environments

• Enthusiastic about developing engaging course materials
