As an Instructor in the Heavy Equipment Technician Apprenticeship program, you will lead in curriculum development and delivery.
Your role includes ensuring effective student support, actively contributing to program initiatives, and fostering a community-oriented atmosphere. Mentoring and professional development will be integral to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver course materials for technicians
• Continuously assess and improve the curriculum
• Participate in educational and community service committees
• Assist with student recruitment and program visibility
• Create a nurturing and responsive classroom environment
Requirements:
• Alberta Journeyperson Certificate in Heavy Equipment Technician
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
• Proficiency in relevant Microsoft applications
• Excellent mentoring and communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational capabilities
