Elevate your career with West Jet as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, focused on our contemporary fleet. This in‑person role emphasizes technical skills on Boeing and De Havilland aircraft while prioritizing safety.
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will work hands‑on with Boeing 787, 737 NG, 737 MAX, and De Havilland Dash 8‑400 aircraft. This position demands at least two years of relevant experience and a valid Transport Canada license. You'll troubleshoot effectively, embody teamwork, and uphold West Jet's core values daily.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance
- Troubleshoot and solve technical issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members during maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance tasks
- Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License (M2 preferred)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience on Boeing 737, 787 and/or Q400
- Solid technical aptitude in airframe and power plant
- Capability to lift 62 lbs and work in various conditions
- Comfortable with maintenance tracking programs and Microsoft Office
