In the Lead Jumbo Operator role, you will be responsible for safe drill operations, mucking, and ground support installation in a mining environment that promotes excellence and responsibility. Candidates need a minimum of three years' experience as a Miner 2 and strong organizational skills. You'll also manage crew activities ensuring operations adhere to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate jumbo and drilling machinery efficiently
• Safely muck out and install ground support
• Prepare drill faces and mark rounds accordingly
• Implement blasting procedures with accuracy
• Supervise and plan crew tasks effectively
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Miner 2
• Prioritize safety and organizational skills
• Completion of full common core for Underground
• Ability to lead crews and make decisions
