The Sales Coordinator position at Canlan Sports involves driving sport surface sales and booking opportunities within a sports and recreational complex. This role is crucial in managing contracts, spot rentals, public programs, and tournaments while maintaining customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets and support the organization's mission and vision.
Manage operating systems for Ice Contracts, Spot Rentals, Public Programs, and Third-party tournaments.
Coordinate and promote Public programs, equipment rentals, and new tournament opportunities.
Analyze competitors and contribute to sales strategy development with the Sales Manager.
Cultivate customer relationships to maximize revenue and ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist in financial management by overseeing contracts and accounts receivable.
Qualifications
Prior sales experience, ideally in sports or recreation.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of sports complex operations is advantageous.
