Inclusion Saskatchewan is looking for a highly organized Employment & Transitions Facilitator. In this role, you will provide individualized support tailored to the needs of people with intellectual disabilities. Your advocacy efforts will focus on enhancing community inclusion and independence, utilizing person-centered practices. This position requires collaboration with families, schools, and community partners to promote successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support individuals in achieving their personal and professional goals
• Facilitate job coaching and needed accommodations
• Partner with educational institutions and employers
• Champion advocacy for self-determination
• Involve in outreach efforts and team collaborations
Requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma in a helping profession
• 1-2 years in community advocacy or support roles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license for travel purposes
• Ability to work independently and with others
