Bus Operator

Position: Full Time Bus Operator
Become a key member of Saskatoon Transit as a Full Time Bus Operator. Drive local routes safely while ensuring excellent customer service and support for all passengers.

This position offers multiple permanent opportunities under the supervision of the Service Supervisor. Candidates will operate buses, provide schedule information, and promote a positive experience for transit riders. Successful applicants will require a strong sense of community service and the ability to navigate the city effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate bus along scheduled routes safely and courteously

• Provide information to passengers about schedules and stops

• Act as a Service Ambassador, ensuring rider safety and comfort

• Report operational issues such as delays or mechanical problems

• Perform related duties as necessary

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education required

• Minimum three years in public transportation service

• Valid Class 2A Learners Licence

• Safe driving record from SGI

• Strong communication and customer service skills

Transport passengers safely through Saskatoon while creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all riders.
