Elevate your professional journey as a Utility Equipment Operator with the City of Saskatoon. This crucial role operates essential machinery, maintaining operational standards during the night shift.
Reporting to the Operations Superintendent, you will utilize your five years of experience with heavy construction equipment to maintain and service trucks, front-end loaders, and motor graders. The position also includes assisting in training efforts to ensure effective staff performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate various types of heavy equipment
• Maintain and service machinery effectively
• Keep accurate service records
• Train staff on equipment operation
• Assist with related operational duties
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 education
• Five years of operating heavy machinery
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 1A Driver’s Licence
• Safe driving history as per driver’s abstract
• Capability to achieve first aid certification
