As part of a major initiative in strengthening research on human and animal health, the Biological and Environmental Sciences and Engineering (BESE) Division in KAUST is seeking to expand research and innovations in the fields of Infection Biology, Microbiomics and innovative technology-driven Diagnostics. Applications for faculty positions at all ranks (Assistant-, Associate- or Full-Professor) are invited from highly competitive candidates, willing to pursue innovative, fundamental-question and cutting–edge technology-oriented research to advance the fields of Infection Biology, Microbiomics and Diagnostics. Successful candidates should have a Ph.D. in Biological Science or related fields, as well as a strong publication track record in the top-tier venues of their respective areas. KAUST is particularly interested in hearing back from high caliber individuals in the fields of Virology, Antimicrobial Resistance, Host-pathogen Interactions, vaccinology, Microbiome Engineering and Molecular Diagnostics.
