• Safely perform assembly, fitting, and riveting of structural and sheet metal parts while ensuring all assemblies meet quality and safety standards.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets to determine correct assembly sequences and specifications.
• Use and maintain tools such as riveting guns, drills, countersinks, and reamers to perform precise structural work, including fastener installation and removal.
• Align and assemble parts using jigs, clamps, and fixtures, forming complex angles and configurations according to blueprints or verbal instructions.
• Instruct and assist team members in interpreting drawings and resolving production or installation challenges.
• Maintain accurate records and logs (MIR sheets, DMTs, PCOs) and perform rework or repairs as required to meet conformity standards.
• Support company 5S and Lean initiatives by keeping a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Properly use and return company tools, dispose of waste materials safely, and follow standard operating procedures for ground support equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and ensure accurate daily job charging and shift turnover communication.
• Perform other assigned duties to support production goals and maintain operational efficiency.

• igh School Diploma or GED required
• 2 years related structural assembly experience
• Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam preferred
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Basic computer skills and basic shop math skills
• Must be able to read a scale and perform basic shop math
• Read and comprehend basic documents and instructions
• Must have essential personal skills, including an aptitude for hands‑on craftwork, a professional attitude, attention to detail, ability to work with people, and the ability to meet demanding schedules
• Must demonstrate good housekeeping and safety practices
• Ability to work with composite resins and materials
• Must be able to work any shift
