Team Lead- VTC Assembly E Shift

Position: CNC Operator – Shift: E (Monday – Thursday, 7:00p.m. to 5:30a.m.).

• Audit/verify process control documents for completion and accuracy.
• Enforce all organizational initiatives, including safety and quality policies.
• Coordinate training activities and audit effectiveness.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot process issues to mitigate downtime.
• Maintain a safe, neat, clean, and organized production area.
• Coordinate changeover activities and audit for accuracy and accountability.
• Adhere to work hours, support production goals and timetables, including overtime as needed.
• Apply ISO 14001 and TS 16949 principles to ensure procedures and instructions are followed.
• Complete production, scrap, and downtime reports timely and accurately.
• Check product dimensions using in‑process inspection sheets and relevant gauges.
• Monitor equipment for unusual sounds, movements, or appearance indicating problems and address anomalies.
• Facilitate part and fixture changes to support product changeovers.
• Visually and manually inspect for defects in product or workmanship.
• Accurately record process equipment settings and conditions using verification check sheets.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Five (5) years of manufacturing experience, preferably in equipment assembly or high‑speed equipment operation.
• Ability to read, write, and follow work order instructions; prepare simple production reports.
• Basic math skills.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machines properly.
• Corrected visual acuity adequate to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds frequently.

Requires frequent walking; occasional standing, sitting, using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reaching with arms; climbing or balancing; stooping, pushing, pulling, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; and talking or hearing. Occasionally lifts or moves between 10 and 50 pounds.

Warehouse/production setting. Occasional proximity to moving mechanical parts; typically loud noise levels. Requires personal protective equipment as needed.
