We are seeking a Mechanic Logistics professional to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate goods handling in our Schiedam Propulsion Workshop. You will oversee incoming inspections, storage, packing, and shipping, support mechanics with technical tasks, and help maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.

What you will do:
  • Inspect incoming goods, perform quality checks, and coordinate with Purchasing on deviations.
  • Store materials according to logistics standards and procedures.
  • Pack and prepare parts for dispatch, including corrosion protection and customer-specific requirements.
  • Support mechanics with technical activities when required.
  • Keep the warehouse orderly, safe, and clean; perform periodic inventory counts.
  • Prioritize daily tasks and contribute to continuous process improvement.
What you bring:
  • MBO level 2 working and thinking level, with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to operate a forklift, reach truck, and crane.
  • Technical knowledge of propulsion components and related tools.
  • Basic IT skills:
    Outlook, Excel, SAP, WeBuy.
  • Ability to communicate in Dutch and English
