The Nebraska Alliance is a growing nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing Nebraska’s response to child abuse and neglect through the CAC model. We serve as the nationally accredited state chapter and membership organization for Child Advocacy Centers in Nebraska (CAC).
We strengthen the CAC model approach by providing training, technical assistance, and capacity‑building support; fostering statewide partnerships; and leading advocacy efforts that advance coordinated, trauma‑informed responses for children and families.

Position SummaryThe Marketing & Communications Coordinator leads clear, consistent, and engaging communications that connect Nebraska’s network of partners and strengthen the organization’s statewide brand. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Operations, this role manages member‑facing communications, digital marketing, and brand‑aligned materials that support training, technical assistance, and advocacy efforts.
This position translates complex initiatives into accessible messaging, ensures consistency across platforms, and supports a cohesive organizational voice. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator plays a key role in how CAC members, partners, and stakeholders experience, understand, and engage with the organization’s work.
How You’ll ContributeMember Communications & Engagement
- Develop, publish, and manage a weekly electronic newsletter for CAC members, ensuring timely, relevant, and engaging content.
- Coordinate internal and member‑facing communications that support training, technical assistance, advocacy efforts, and network updates.
- Design and produce training flyers, digital graphics, and promotional materials for events, learning opportunities, and initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal staff to ensure materials are accurate, accessible, and audience‑appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Director to draft and edit communications related to legislative priorities, policy initiatives, and other high‑level organizational messages.
Marketing & Brand Identity
- Strengthen and maintain the organization’s brand identity, including voice, messaging, and visual standards.
- Ensure consistent branding across all materials, platforms, and communications.
- Create and update marketing collateral that reflects organizational values and priorities.
Social Media & Digital Presence
- Plan, create, and schedule content for organizational social media platforms, aligning posts with strategic goals and campaigns.
- Monitor engagement and adapt content to improve reach and effectiveness.
- Support storytelling that highlights organizational/collective impact, partnerships, and statewide initiatives.
- Manage and update the organization’s websites, including page creation, content updates, and visual enhancements.
- Ensure website content is current, user‑friendly, and aligned with branding and communication goals.
Strong communications are essential to a connected, effective membership and stakeholders. This role ensures that our network receives clear, reliable, and timely information that supports participation in training, alignment with statewide initiatives, and shared understanding of priorities.
