Job Description

Keelson Management, a managed services company with its headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona, is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their growing team. Reporting to the CFO, the primary task of the FRM is to compile detailed and thoughtful reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including company owners and board of directors. The FRM will also support various group initiatives on an ad hoc basis.

The ideal candidate is a progressive thinker, process-oriented, problem solver, and a great communicator. Familiarity with Google products is preferred.

Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Proficient user of company ERP (IFS a plus)

  • Create and/or maintain various databases warehousing critical operating and financial data needed for reporting and decision-making purposes

  • Work with members of staff and management to create and maintain reporting utilizing operating and financial data

  • Refine and manage process by which “assembly-line” reporting is conducted (for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual reporting)

  • Establish and manage process by which internal and external requests for data/information are received and handled

  • Field requests and provide accurate responses based on own analysis, and insights/contributions from other members of staff/management

  • Conduct various other ad hoc reporting and analysis as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • College degree (BS/BA) in related discipline preferred.

  • 5 years of experience in financial reporting preferred, experience in Private Equity a plus

  • PC skills required, including proficiency with Google products (i.e., Sheets, Docs, Slides, Gmail, etc.), and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Power Point and Visio applications.

  • Skill in effective, clear and persuasive oral and written communications to individuals and groups.

  • Skill in resolving conflicts and gaining cooperation among competing interest groups.
